LOCAL NEWS

The W. J. & S. S. R. R. have made a settlement with Frederick MacFarland, of Elmer, who was injured by the falling of a freight car door at the Novelty Glass Works a few weeks since. The settlement was made with J. C. Edmunds. Esq., attorney for Mr. MacFarland.
