Prominent workers at the Brookfield, Brooklyn, bottle plant are A.L. Gifford, August Schulze, Frank Hoffman, Chas. Schmidt, Benj. Morton, Wm. F. Schmidt, Henry Hedgborg, formerly of Point Marion; Geo. Grocombe, Michael Brendel, Stewart Moneypenny and others. All are reported to be doing fairly well, having lost no time to speak of so far this season. The Branch is affiliated with the Central Federated union of Brooklyn, which is exerting every effort toward making the coming union label fair a success. · · |
