Big Meeting and Social Session.

Brooklyn, N.Y., May 20. - Last Saturday the members of Branch No. 52 G.B.B.A., of this city, had the honor of a visit from vice president John A. Voll, Secretary Wm. Launer and four members of the executive board, James J. Dunn, E.J. Dailey, F.H. Williams and P.E. Whelan. Bro. Dunn was appointed chairman of the meeting and he performed his duty in excellent style. Vice President Voll was the first speaker on the floor and everyone present was deeply interested in what he had to say. It was the first time that the majority of us here had ever heard Bro. Voll, and he certainly gave us a good talk. His address was very impressive and was followed with close attention.

The next speaker was F.H. Williams, who delivered a short address, and was followed by E.J. Dailey. Both were all right. P.E. Whelan was next on the program. He told us that he was from a foreign country, but we were glad to see him just the same. Secretary Wm. Launer held the floor next and gave us some very important information in regard to the good and welfare of the G.B.B.A. Mr. Launer is no stranger among the men of Branch 52. Last, but not least, was Bro. Frank Tomlin, who delivered a short address. James Dunn, chairman of the meeting, put on the finishing touches after we adjourned to partake of refreshments.

An excellent social session followed. Prof. Summers took charge of the piano. The first song by Andy Funston was entitled "The Devil's in New Jersey." Tommy Holland made a great hit with his song "Enough." Geo. Crokum was next, and sang "Love Me and the World is Mine." Among the other singers was Harry Brerton. He is a little man, but he can make lots of noise. Geo. Weiss took well as a Jew Comedian. Everyone present had a good time and everybody was happy. - Subway.
