David Pugh in Pittsburg
General Superintendent David Pugh, of the Diamond Flint Glass Co., Montreal, Can., was shaking hands with old friends in Pittsburg and vicinity this week. He states that the Montreal plant experienced the best year in its history this season. The factory was closed down a short time ago, but will start on time next September. The usual repairs on the furnaces and buildings will be made during the summer. Many new machines are being built in the firm's moldmaking department. Mr. Pugh reports a very satisfactory business this season. The plant is usually closed down in May.
