Elaborate Observance at Muncie. At Muncie, Ind., the general committee in charge of arrangements for the observance of Labors Memorial Day met last Sunday and perfected details. Nearly every local in the city was represented. A report from the unions showed that there are eighty-one graves in Beech Grove cemetery to be decorated. A special committee was appointed to place flowers on the graves next Sunday. In the afternoon the workers of Muncie will meet at Labor hall to prepare for the march to the cemetery which will be made at 2 o'clock. The services will be conducted at the speaker's platform in the grove. The principal address will be made by John F. Tobin, president of Muncie Trades Council. Following is the program: Music, band; invocation, Daniel Darst; opening address, John O'Brien, chairman; music, band; song, quartet; memorial address, John F. Tobin; music, band; song, quartet. The line of march follows: South on Walnut from Jackson; west on Charles to Council; south on Council to Powers to cemetery. First Division — Grand marshal, Wm. J. Getz and aids; band; officers Muncie Trades Council; Memorial Day committee; Woman's Label League; Cigar Makers; Brewery Workers; Painters and Paper Hangers; Printers; Machinists; No. 35; Barbers; No. 28; Bartenders; Carpenters; Local 592.
