Making Improvements at Montreal
The Diamond Flint Glass Co., Montreal, Can., have been making extensive improvements during the summer vacation period. Several new buildings are being erected and additional facilities are being provided for the manufacture of glassware. The repairs and improvements are being made under the direction of Gen. Supt. David Pugh, who returned to Montreal recently after a two weeks' visit in the United States.
Since Supt. Pugh took charge of the factory department at the Diamond plant great progress has been made in the matter of rearranging and remodeling the various departments and the plant is rapidly assuming an up-to-date appearance. Excellent packing and storage facilities are a feature at the Diamond, several new additions having been built recently in these departments.
