PRESENTED WITH DIAMOND RING
Chas. Murray Accepts Position as Superin-
tendent of the Diamond Glass Co.'s
Plant, Montreal — Fine Token
of Esteem.
Last Tuesday at his home, 280 Main Street, Lawrenceville, Pittsburg, Chas. A. Murray was waited on by a committee composed of employees of the J. T. & A. Hamilton Glass CO. In a very neat speech Patrick McKenna, in behalf of the office force and other employees of the company presented Manager Murray with a very handsome diamond ring as a token of the good fellowship existing between the workmen and manager. Mr. Murray was taken completely by surprise and was almost over come by emotion. In his response he stated that he appreciated the kindness beyond words.
Mr. Murray has accepted the position of superintendent of the Diamond Flint Glass Co.'s works, Montreal, Can., the position made vacant by the resignation of David Pugh. Mr. Murray left Pittsburg last Thursday for Canada and will immediately begin his new duties. He was former manager at the Sheldon-Foster plant in Chicago Heights, Ill., and had been with the J. T. & A. Hamilton CO. over two years. He is an experienced glass factory manager and his friends in the trade, who are legion, join in wishing him unlimited success in his new field of endeavor.
