STRIKE IS STILL ON.

Hemingray Factory Boys Remain Out and

Say They Will Stay Out.

The strike at the Hemingray glass factory, which has been on since Saturday evening, continues and the boys remain out. They expect to receive the demand asked. Yesterday they stated that they would be joined by the boys on other shifts, but there has been no indication of the kind as yet.

There will be a meeting some time this afternoon or tonight, when it is expected that another committee will be appointed to call on the managers in an effort to secure the demand asked. The boys are determined to remain out they say, until their wages have been raised. They seem confident that they will be successful in this. The boys are conducting themselves very creditably and there has been no demonstration whatever thus far.
