SAN FRANCISCO.

The San Francisco and Pacific Glass Works have purchased a 100-vara lot at the corner of Seventh and Townsend streets, where new works are being erected. They are situated next to the railroad track, giving facilities for shipping equal to those of the old works on King street, and will be the most complete establishment of the kind west of Pittsburgh. The furnaces are now being erected in an iron and brick fireproof building. All of the modern improvements will be introduced, and the works will have a capacity of eight tons per day of green glassware. The furnaces will be started up November 1.
