Flint Glass Workers' Annual Convention

To Be Held Here in July.

Committee Now Preparing for the Entertainment

Of the Large Number of Visitors — Members of the

Various Committees,

The time is fast approaching for the 22nd Annual Convention of the American Flint Glass Workers' Union which convenes in the magic city of Muncie on July 10th, and will hold session for about twelve days, and the different local unions of Flint Glass Workers of Muncie have their respective committees together making arrangements to give the delegation and their friends who visit the city a grand reception; while Muncie is centrally located and has the best or railroad facilities, there is no doubt that the committee on arrangements will be able to handle the large crowds of people that will be in here on the opening day of the 22nd Annual Convention of the A. F. G. W. U., and can assure them it will be one of the grandest demonstrations that was ever held in Muncie. Through the efforts of citizens and delegates to the 21st Annual Convention, held in Zanesville, O., last July, they were successful over big odds in securing the convention for Muncie, and under the management of C. N. Edmonds, and the co-operation of the citizens the reception committee will leave nothing undone to make this matter a grand success, and a memorial day. The committee is making an effort to secure several prominent speakers for this occasion, among whom is Gov. Mount of Indiana, Gov. Tanner of Illinois, and U. V. Debs.
