RECENT DEATHS.

Daniel Carroll Hemingray, secretary-treasurer of the Hemingray Glass Co., Muncie, Ind., died suddenly in Cincinnati, O., last week, the cause of his demise being apoplexy. The deceased was about 55 years of age. He was a graduate of Yale University and was a classmate of President Taft, keeping up the college friendship all through their lives.

Besides his brother, Ralph G., two sisters survive, Mrs. Bradford Shinkle, of Covington, Ky., and another sister who resides in Lexington, Ky. Interment was made in Highland cemetery, near Covington, Ky. Rev. W. H. Felix, of Lexington, officiated at the funeral.

The deceased was a member of Muncie lodge of Elks, which sent a beautiful floral tribute and also sent representatives to the funeral. The funeral was the largest ever held in that city, many coming from various cities and states to attend it. Mr. Hemingray was a genial, whole-souled man and his demise is sincerely regretted by a host of friends.
