California Glass Insulator Company makes first shipment of bottles

FIRST SHIPMENT

 

The California Glass Insulator Company, the only glass plant on the Pacific Coast, which has been in operation here for several months, today made its first shipment of glass bottles, a unit of the plant just established a week ago. Already the plant is overwhelmed with orders for the new department. The plant, which is one of the most modern in this country, has ten acres of ground so arranged that the plant can be enlarged by units as the different departments of glass manufacture are taken up.
