Shut Down.
Last evening the Flint glass works and Hemingray's and Ball Bros' glass works closed down for the summer months. To-day twenty-nine of the employes in the Hemingray works, who came here with the factory, left for Covington and Cincinnati, where they will spend their vacation. Those in the party noticed by the Times scribe were, L. Sullivan and wife, Katie Elliott, Henry McDonald and wife, Robt. Hemingray and family, Thos. Carroll, Albert Evans, Joseph Elliott, James Sullivan, Samuel Bird, W. Evans, M. Carrey, Mrs. L. Carrey, Will Finnen, John Dodd and Geo. Beasley.
