Miss Llewellyn Hemingray was hostess at a luncheon given today at 1:30 o'clock, one of the prettiest affairs of the month, complimentary to Miss Mayme E. Johnson, whose mar­riage to Mr. Karl Oesterle will take place next Wednesday, June 26. The guests were served at two tables, the one being beautifully done in a pla­teau design of white sweet peas and the other in pink sweet peas. Mono­gram place cards done in gold were used and a seven-course luncheon was served, covers were laid for Misses Mayme Johnson, Evelyn Oesterle, Mary Wysor, Margaret Olcott, Janet Turner, Madge Mitchell, of Lima, Ohio, the guest of Mrs. Davis; Mary Willard and guest, Elizabeth Bosler, of Connersville; Miss Cranston, of Chicago, guest of Mrs. Edward Johnson; Emily Howe, Har­riet Johnson. Mesdames Charles Davis, Ray Johnson, Edward John­son, Frank Kimbrough, Lloyd Kim­brough, Fred Jones, William Thomp­son and Robert Carlisle.
