Her only attendant was her cousin Miss Harriet Johnson. Miss Johnson’s gown was of pink voille and she carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bride’s gift to her attendant a bracelet. Mr. Eugene Oesterle, brother of the groom, was best man. The groom’s gift to him was engraved gold cuff buttons.
The bridal altar was banked with greenery in which were two enormous bouquets of white bride’s flowers veiled with tulle. The guests’ pews were marked by streamers of smilax with bouqets [sic] bouquets of white bride's flowers fastened with tulle at the ends of the pews.
The ushers were Lloyd Kimbrough, Phillip McAbee, Will Thompson and Frank Kimbrough.
