Hartmann & Braun A.-G. in Frankfurt A. M. Bockenheim. Insulating roll for fastening multiple cables.

For fastening multiple cables there are insulating rolls, consisting of a through drilled base A with a pin-shaped extension B, which protects the cables from contact with the fastening screw.

Illustration

In order to ensure that the ring D which presses the cable tight can be tightened without any rotation which could be dangerous for the insulation, a metal cap E (Fig. 28) is provided which screws onto the fastening bolt C and thereby presses the ring D, which is pushed over the pin-shaped extension B of the lower part A, onto the cables. In the embodiment according to Fig. 29, a fork-shaped washer J (Fig. 30) is pushed between the ring D and the screw head; when the screw is tightened, the ring D then tightens the cables.
