Warm Weather Affecting the Iron

and Glass Workers.

The hundreds of employees in the big iron and glass factories in Muncie are beginning to complain of the warm weather. The men who work on the furnaces find the temperature too high for any comfort. The season in the glass factories does not close until June 31, and the blowers are dreading the next six weeks more than all the rest of the season. The term in the rolling mills lasts all the year and the employees find the summer very severe.

The big glass factories have begun to ship out some accumulations of stock and within the next two weeks hundreds of car loads of Muncie glassware will be going over the country to supply the market with cans for putting up the fruit crop.
