The German Wednesday night at Heath's hall, under the auspices of the Eleven club was one of the prettiest affairs of the season. R. E. Walker and P. R. Janney led the dance. At the favor table presided Mrs. Edward Olcott and Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Dunham chaperoned the party. A luncheon was served during the evening by Hummel, the caterer. Those present were: Messrs. and Mesdames Evans and Powers, and Misses Florence McNaughton, Bessie Ellis, Josephine Gray, Emily Olcott, Fannie Turner, Helen Hickson, Lewellen Hemingray, Clara Gill, Agnes Howe, Clarissa Koons, Edna Boyce, Sarah Kirby, Charlotte Bishop, Wiles of Dayton, Ohio, Reed of Rochester, N. Y., LaForce of Bedford; Messrs. Walker, Howe, Oesterle, Janney, Walter McNaughton, John McNaughton, Myers, Greyer, Georgia, Lytle, Ryan, Beam, Gass, Lesh, Gill, and James Hamlin of Chicago, guest of Karl Oesterle.
