A New Firm. - An Established Business Enlarged.

WE recently mentioned the retirement of Mr. GEO. H. BLISS, the efficient and popular Superintendent of the Telegraph Department of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad for several years past, from that position. This retirement was for the purpose of devoting his whole time and attention to the business heretofore conducted by the firm of BLISS, TILLOTSON & CO.

TILLOTSON& CO. having decided to concentrate their business in this city, the firm has been dissolved, and they have disposed of their interest in the establishment to the new firm of GEORGE H. BLISS & CO., whose advertisement appears in this number of THE TELEGRAPHER. Mr. BLISS will hereafter conduct the business, and his whole time and attention will be given to it. His abilities as an electrician are well known at the West, and his able management of the extensive telegraphic business of the lines of the C. and N. W. Railroad, as well as of that of the established and highly successful business enterprise with which he has also been connected, have demonstrated his business talent.

The manufacture and sale of all descriptions of telegraphic and electrical instruments, apparatus and supplies, will be carried on by the new firm at No. 41 Third avenue, and the facilities will be increased as rapidly as possible to meet the large increasing demand upon them. We can cordially recommend the new firm to the patronage of those who may need anything in their line of business.
