THE GLASS FACTORIES.

The Wormser Glass Co.'s factory, on Second avenue, was burned down on the night of August 10. The loss is estimated at about $10,000, partially insured. This was at one time a window glass factory, was afterwards changed into a green bottle house, and latterly has been making flint glass specialties, such as fruit jars caps, glass balls, etc. It is not decided yet whether the works will be rebuilt.
