— CADIZ GLASS WORKS. — We are sorry to learn that the Lithgoe [sic] Lythgoe Brothers, who have been operating the Cadiz Glass Works, have determined to leave here, and locate in Bowling Green, Wood county, Ohio. The Lithgoes [sic] Lythgoes, and those who have been engaged with them, have won the esteem of the Cadiz people, as they are thorough gentlemen, and the best of workmen, and are an acquisition to any community. They are the best glass workmen we know; the output of the Cadiz works has been thirteen hundred gross per month, and the ware is the best we have ever looked at. The Bowling Green people offer them splendid inducements to locate there, and if the Company that induced them to go there treat them fairly and honestly, all will be benefitted [sic] benefited. We are sorry to lose them from Cadiz. The Cadiz works will close about the first of July. · ·
