The Ohio River is just now an object of interest and anxiety as well. At this point this morning there were fifty-two feet in the channel, and rising slowly

IN COVINGTON.

The cellars at the Hemingray Glass Works are full of water, and some of the furnaces can not be fed.

At noon to-day the river was yet rising at the rate of one inch and a half an hour, and threatening to damage thousands of dollars worth of property.
