BUYS TWO CONCERNS

TOLEDO, O., May 4 — (AP) — Purchase of two concerns in deals reported to involve more than $500,000 in committment has been concluded by the Owens-Illinois Glass Co.

All of the assets and the business of the Hemingray Glass Co. of Muncie, Ind., manufacturers of glass insulators, were bought along with substantially all of the assets of the O'Neill Machine Co. of Toledo.

The Owens-Illinois Glass Co. on Tuesday received from the state division of securities a license to deal in securities and it was generally supposed part of the purchase prices will be paid thru its own shares or debentures.
