Florida Bride Weds Illinois Groom in Newark The marriage of Miss Hallie Van Slyck, who came north from Miami, Fla., to be united in marriage with John Leisenring, Jr., Springfield, Ill., took place yesterday evening in a quite 5:30 o'clock ceremony performed in the First Methodist church parish house by Rev. S. M. Ingmire. Miss Van Slyck resides in Florida with her sister and brother-in-law. The groom is affiliated with the Owens-Illinois Muncie Ind., branch and is the brother of George K. Leisenring, Chestnut street, who is associated with the Newark Owens-Illinois company here. |
