JOHN RODEFER DEAD

Rodefer Bros.' factory was closed all of last week, the men refusing to work after the new rules were posted up; but the works would not have been operated at any rate, as Mr. John Rodefer, father of the three brothers of this firm, died in the early part of the week. He was one of the pioneers of this section and witnessed the transformation of cornfields and orchards into the thriving city of Bellaire during his residence here, and all of the boys were born right here. He was 77 years of age and had lived here from the time he was a boy in his teens.
