John Gray of Chicago is making Lightning Rod balls

JOHN GRAY BACK TO CHICAGO

Mr. John Gray, who has been here since early spring making glass balls and silvering them, left for his home in Chicago last week. These silvered balls are used to ornament lightning rods and as knobs for bureaus, etc., and has grown to be quite a business; 80,000 is the number made this season.
