ONE STRIKE SETTLED

Another is Hanging Fire and Boys Say

They Will Not Return.

The strike at Ball Brothers glass works is over and the boys have all gone back to work again under the old conditions. There are a few who have stated that they never will return until they get the wages they ask. Most of the boys at Ball Bros. began work last night and several went back to work today.

The strike at Hemingray's glass works is different. The boys are still striking and declare that they will not give up until their demand is granted. The boys have been hanging around the factory since the day they went out, up until yesterday when their employers came out and paid them their wages and told them to go. Today the situation is unchanged. Several of the boys were in the basement of the court house today conversing over the affair.

What the probable outcome of the strike will be is not known, as the company is far behind in its orders.
