THE funeral of Mrs. Kate Swasey took place yesterday afternoon from her father's residence on Garrard street. A large number of friends and relatives were present. The casket was beautifully decorated with flowers. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Mr. Duncan, of Cincinnati. The pall-bearers were Messrs. John Benton, J. L. Stevenson, James C. Ernst, Jas Minor, Thos. Price, Richard Bishop. The remains were conveyed to Highland cemetary and placed in a vault.
