The Indiana Iron Works employees signed the scale, which is almost the same as that of last year, and the mill is in complete operation and will continue until the 14th, when it will be closed for a week or two to take stock and for necessary repairing.

BENDING WORKS.

The employees of the Bending Works who have had steady employment for many months will continue to work until the latter part of this month and probably later although a stop will be made to take stock. Shafts are being shipped by the wholesale and the entire force of employees are as busy as bees.

THE MCVOY WORKS.

The McVoy Galvanizing Works which are situated just east of the Midland Steel Works are running full force but will close the latter part of this week when repairing will be accomplished and the works will be put in splendid condition for the opening of the coming season which promises to be a busy one.

THE MUNCIE PULP MILLS.

The mills of the Muncie Pulp Co., are continuing to be operated in a steady manner and the large force of workmen are turning out a large amount of material. Timber continues to come in large quantities which will be sufficient to supply the mill for some time. The machine shop is one of the busiest departments of the mills, skilled mechanics do the repairing in the mills and keep them in good working order.

BALLS STAMPING WORKS.

The department in which the Stamping Works are located at Ball Bros., glass works presents a busy appearance especially since the remainder of the mill has been closed for the season. This department will in all probability, continue to be operated steadily the entire season with the exception of a few days in which necessary repairs will be made.

HEMINGRAY'S GLASS WORKS.

Hemingray's Glass Works are in complete operation and will be continued so throughout the entire season as a large amount of work is on hand which will be finished before the mill is closed which will not do.

This is the only glass house in the city that is in operation.
