Battleship Fund.
The effort to raise $8,000 with which to purchase a silver service and library for the battleship Indiana has met with a generous response, and the fund is now about raised. Muncie, no less enterprising than the neighboring towns, has done her share, and far more than some of the cities that claim to be much larger. The subscriptions from Muncie, which have been collected and forwarded, are as follows:
