Inspecting the Gas Belt.
Messrs. Whitall, Thomas and another gentleman representing the Whitall, Tatum & Co. Glass Co. of Millville, N. J., spent the day yesterday in Muncie seeing glass factories. The gentlemen represent the largest bottle factory in the world, employing about 3,000 hands on nineteen tanks. The visited the Muncie Flint Glass works, Ball Bros. and Hemingrays and were astonished at the completeness of the factories and the wonderful fuel.
