THREE STRIKERS TO BE ARRESTED.

Hemingray's Glass Works Not Closed on

Account of the Strike.

A statement in a morning paper said Hemingray's glass works in Industry were closed as the result of a strike for higher wages on the part of boys who were employed as helpers, is misleading and false. Last night more of the boys struck, but the factory did not shut down as was stated. Altogether, R. C. Hemingray states, twenty-six boys have struck. The company claims that some large boys are the instigators of the strike, have prevented smaller boys willing to work from working by intimidating them and by forcibly keeping them from going into the factory. Three of the boys have been very offensive in this respect. Mr. Hemingray reports that the company has sworn out warrants for their arrest charging them with assault and battery and provoke. At 1 o'clock the warrants were in the hands of the police, who were ready to serve them.
