MISSING PAPERS

In the Rude Assignment Muddle Have Been Found.

MEETING OF CREDITORS TO BE CALLED SATURDAY.

TRUSTEE TO BE ELECTED.

Probabilities Are That the Plant Will Resume Operations.

The inquiry into the bankruptcy proceedings of J. M. Rude, which was conducted Thursday before Martin M. Durrett in the Covington Government Building, resulted in very little being accomplished.

In the matter of a missing contract it was learned after the adjournment that it had been found in the office of the receiver, John Ernst, it having been turned over to that official by Mr. Rude when the assignment was made, but had been overlooked by Mr. Ernst. Mr. Rude was in no way to blame.

The creditors of Rude have called a meeting for Saturday afternoon in the library room of the Government Building for the purpose of selecting a trustee to carry on the business. It is the intention to resume business as soon as a Trustee is appointed.
