HANDS LACERATED BY GLASS
Le De Batty, 14, of 620 Ohio avenue, had both hands severely lacerated by broken glass at the Hemingway [sic] Hemingray glass factory early Thursday morning. He would have bled to death, Dr. Mason says, had not an employee of the factory tied pieces of rope around the boy's wrists and stopped the flow of blood. The lad walked from the factory to the doctor's office, a distance of nearly two miles and had his wounds dressed.
