Hemingrays Will Operate Kentucky Plant
Covington Concern Will Not Interfere With Muncie Business
The Hemingray Glass Company, of Muncie, will this week put in operation its old factory at Covington, Ky. The plant has been idle for more than ten years, since the concern moved to Muncie and erected its present buildings in Industry. William Finan, a well known employee of the firm will leave the latter part of the week for Covington to become superintendent of the works there. Arthur Corey, John Fitzgibbons, and William Richey will also leave soon for the same place. Six shops will be started and its the intention of the management to give employment to about 100 men and boys. The Kentucky factory will in no way interfere with the business of the Muncie plant. The company has no intention of moving back to Covington, but will make its headquarters there.
