INDUSTRIAL MUNCIE Interesting News Notes From Mill and Factory · · The following factories closed Saturday night: Midland Steel mill, Indiana Iron and Steel works, the Muncie Glass works, the remaining tank at Ball Brothers' Fruit Jar factory, one tank at the Hemingray Glass factory, the Palmer Steel and Iron plant, and the Maring-Hart Window Glass factory. The iron factories will remain closed until the wage scale is settled, which it is thought will take but two or three weeks. The glass factories with the exception of Hemingray's will be closed two months. · · |
