ROUSE AND HEMINGRAY Kenton Election Commissioners Have Popular Approval The Kentucky State Board of Election Commissioners met yesterday in Frankfort and for the first time since the election law went into effect appointed Commissioners for Kenton who were not professional politicians. The dominance of the Big Five — Judge Lassing alliance — in the Democracy was exhibited by the appointment of Attorney Shelly D. Rouse as the Democratic Election Commissioner. Rouse is one of the Big Five who had charge of the recent Democratic primary. The Republican Commissioner is also one of the best-known men in town. Dan C. Hemingray, of the Hemingray Glass Works. Universal satisfaction was expressed today when it was learned who were the appointees for Kenton. Both men will serve. |
