BOYS WANT INCREASE

Refused to Go to Work, and Glass

Factory is Closed.

MUNCIE, IND., May 7. (Spl.) —

All boy helpers at the Hemingray Glass Company's glass factory, numbering 125, went out on strike yesterday, demanding an increase of 20 cents a day. The company refused to grant the increase, and the entire factory closed, throwing 250 men out of work.

The striking boys were dissatisfied because the boys at Ball Bros.' factory received an increase. The Hemingray Company owns a factory in Covington, Ky.
