NEWS GATHERED FOR

WORKINGMEN'S PERUSAL

One half of the striking boys at the Hemingray factory returned to work yesterday and the strike is considered practically at an end, as the others will probably return to work this morning. It is stated that the boys went back to work at the old scale.

The boys who returned Wednesday were those employed in the flint house. Those who will return today are employed on the tanks. It is stated that the boys were influenced in returning by the advice of their elders. The strike was of short duration, lasting less than two days.

The chances are now considered good for steady operation for the remainder of the fire, and the workmen are jubilant.
