MEN TAKE PLACE

OF STRIKING BOYS

The strike among the boys at the Hemingray glass factory continues with no sign of a settlement. The company professes no intention of granting the demands. The strikers are apparently as firm as on the first day and the end is not in sight.

Friday three shops were operated with men filling the places of the boys. Twenty-one of the strikers accepted places at the factory of Ball Brothers. The company hopes Saturday to put more shops to work and break the strike in this way. It is highly probably that the places will be operated by men.
