MAY UNIONIZE FLINT PLANT Change in the Management Makes it Possible. ASKED FOR A MEETING Muncie Wanted Iron and Steel Men to Convene Here. BIG ORGER FOR HEMINGRAY'S An effort is being made to unionize the flint glass factory in Eaton. The old management was not favorable to the union men and the plant was operated non-union. A change in the officers was made later on and at a consulatation with the officers of the American Flint Glass Workers' union an agreement was made or practically agreed to. The men express themselves as being satisfied with the condition of things and a settlement will no doubt be made. · · An order has been received by the Hemingray glass company for a consignment of extra heavy electric insulators. They will be double the size of those which are ordinarily put out. · · |
