The coal tank at the Hemingrays factory is apparently a much needed addition to the plant, and will insure steady work to the boys employed in the works.

The first work was done on it on Monday last, ten shops being employed. This is pronounced one of the best of the coal burning glass tanks in existence, and the product therefrom is of the first grade. Those who have been employed on the tank are loud in their praise, and believe that it is but the forerunner of more such tanks in the various glass factories of the city.
