With the new tank of the Hemingray Glass company turning out fine ware from their new coal tank, there is little prospect of a shut-down of long duration in the glass factories. If gas should become short this season there can be secured enough coal at short notice to supply all within a few days. Of course this would mean new tanks, as the producer gas from coal is secured by a direct manufacture and a special furnace is required.
