PITTSBURGH, Sept. 27 — Miss Sally Hathaway Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon E. Lewis of Pittsburgh, was married here this afternoon to Michael Hemingray Horner. He is a son of Clarence H. Horner of Pittsburgh and the late Mrs. Horner.

The Rev. Dr. Charles W. Brown performed the ceremony in the Ben Avon United Presbyterian Church.

The bride, who was given in the marriage by her father, wore her maternal grandmother's wedding dress of cream faille trimmed with rosepoint lace. Her veil of heirloom rosepoint and duchesse lace was worn mantilla style, and she carried a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis.

Miss Judy C. Allen was maid of honor. The other attendants were Mrs. Fraser Lewis, sister-in-law of the bride; Mrs. Donald A. Lebold, Mrs. Peter P. Van Blarcom and Misses Sarah Wilson, Elizabeth Taylor, Sydney Ervin and Jeanne C. Arthur. William C. Horner was his brother's best man.

Mrs. Horner, who graduated this year from Connecticut College, is a provisional member of the Junior League of Pittsburgh. She was presented to society here in 1955.

Her husband is an alumnus of Cornell University, class of '58. He will be stationed for six months at Fort Sill, Okla., as a second lieutenant in the Army.
