Wreck on the L. E. & W.

 

A Lake Erie & Western freight, west-bound, as it neared the Harrison street crossing at Alexandria, Ind., at 5:15 Sunday morning, was wrecked, one box car loaded with glass insulators form Hemingray's at Muncie, breaking down, throwing off two gondolas with well drilling material. The box car was torn into kindling wood, the contents being scattered over a large area. No one was hurt.
