They Favor American Boys. New York, July 19 - the semi-annual meeting of the Eastern Association of Glass Bottle Manufacturers was held here, President Brookfield, of New York, presiding. It was resolved to strenuously resist the demand of the workmen in regard to wages and the limitation of apprentices. It was also resolved to insist that American boys be allowed to learn the trade instead of foreigners when there is a scarcity of workmen in the country.
