The Western Flint Bottle Association held a meeting at the Burnett House, Cincinnati, on Oct. 24. W. H. Hamilton, president of the association, was in the chair, and John Watson, of W. McCully & Co., was secretary. J. T. & A. Hamilton, Tibby Bros., W. H. Hamilton & Co., Robert Liddell, W. McCully & Co., and Agnew & Co., Pittsburgh; J. K. Cummings, the Great Western Glass Works, and W. Elliot Smith, St. Louis; Kerns, Herman & Gorsuch, Zanesville; the Hemingway [sic] Hemingray Glass Co., Covington, Ky.; the North Wheeling Glass Works; the Bellaire Bottle Co., and the Ottawa (Ill.) Flint Glass Co. were represented. It was stated that work at all the factories was proceeding to the satisfaction of the manufacturers, and that the prospects of the trade were cheering. The quotations adopted at the Columbus meeting were reaffirmed, and the association after transacting some routine work adjourned.
