HALL STRIKINGLY DECORATED
All arrangements have been completed for the charity ball which will be given by the members of the Young Women's auxiliary to the Free Kindergarten association Wednesday evening in the Zuber Manning hall. The young women have spared nothing to make it one of the most pleasant social functions of the winter.
The receiving party will be composed of the following members of the auxiliary; Misses Maude Brownell, Llewellyn Hemingray, Mary Myers, Myrtle Snyder, Besse Shepp, Lillian Snyder, Mary Willard, Florence Ream, Reba Richey, Allie Snell, Reba Koons, Francis James, Lotta Shaw, Kathaleen Fay, Louise Phinney, Sara Kirby, Emily Olcott, Nell Myers, Minnie Gass, Janet Gass, Huda Smith, Agnes Howe, Mayme Johnson, Harriet Johnson, Mesdames Earl Clemens, Charles Grafton and Charles Moore.
The grand march will begin at 8:30 o’clock.
Several hundred people have signified their intention of attending the ball and the many unique and novel costumes that will be worn will be an attractive feature of the function. Wearing apparel that was the height of style in the sixteenth century will be worn alongside that of the twentieth. There will be imitations of the costumes worn by different nations from the civilized Indian to the very proper Frenchman; of all classes of people from the Italian beggar to the Salvation army, and above all these will shine the original costumes in the comic style.
