THE HEMINGRAY

OFFICE BURNED

Valuable Papers Were Destroyed --

Loss on Building

About $400.

The Hemingray glass factory, owned by the Hemingray Glass company, was endangered last night and the old office building burned to the ground. The fire started from a grate. Valuable books and papers were destroyed. The loss outside of this will not be greater than $400.

The office which burned was standing on jacks about 100 yards west of a new office that had just been constructed but that had not been moved into.

The Hemingray company, of which Ralph G. Hemingray, of Muncie, is president, regrets the loss of papers more than the destruction of the building.
