GLASS HOUSES ARE

TO CLOSE JULY 1.

The annual shutdown of the Muncie glass factories will take place about July 1 this year. %%The Hemingray, Boldt, and Ball Brothers' factories will be closed down at the time mentioned or within a few days thereof.

The season has been an exceptionally good one. With all the immense stock of the Ball Brothers, in fruit jars and other wares, the shipping season will see but a small stock on hand, and it is certainly that next year will see another successful run. At the Hemingray factory there has been a large demand for wares and the season has been one of the most successful in the history of the plant. The Boldt factory made a change from hand to machine ware on several shops and it is said great success has rewarded the effort.

From statements made by the several companies, it is apparent that the plants are in good condition with prospects for a good run next season.
